The Australian University (AU) is proud to announce that its students won the “Best Booth Award” at the INJAZ Company competition 2025 for their project entitled, “Ramalah”. The two-day event gathered 12 teams from universities across Kuwait.
On the first day, students presented their business pitches and showcased their booths to a panel of judges, followed by detailed interviews on the second day. AU participated with three projects — Evora, Niqoshi, and Ramalah — after months of preparation and hard work by the student teams.
The Ramalah project specialized in sustainable energy solutions, using Kuwait’s sand resources for advanced Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems to store surplus renewable energy. The project stood out for its innovative approach and technical excellence, helping the AU team shine among strong competition from other universities.
The Ramalah team was composed of students: Dana Khuraibet, Salem Sweid, Nour Al-Mutairi, Anwar Al-Bathali, and Leen Belal, mentored by Mr. Hamza AlJarajreh, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at AU.
