The Australian University, represented by its Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ECO Environmental Consultants, a leading Kuwait-based firm specializing in environmental consulting and sustainability solutions.
ECO Environmental Consultants is certified to 13 ISO standards, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), reflecting its commitment to excellence and global best practices.
This partnership aims to foster collaboration in key areas such as:
- Joint research and development in environmental management, sustainability, and energy efficiency
- Environmental consultation for academic and applied projects
- Training programs, seminars, and internship opportunities for AU students
- Knowledge exchange between academia and industry to promote innovation and practical learning
The signing ceremony took was in AU in the presence of Prof. Isam Zabalawi, President of AU, Mr. Sager Al Sharhan, Assistant to the President for Support Services at AU, and Dr. Ali Khuraibet, CEO of ECO Environmental Consultants, along with other company representatives. This MoU marks a significant step in AU’s ongoing efforts to empower students and contribute to environmental management progress in Kuwait.
