AU signs MoU with Americana

The Australian University (AU) and Americana officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11 June 2026 at the AU campus to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry and create valuable opportunities for students and graduates. 

The partnership reflects both parties’ commitment to supporting student development, enhancing employability, and providing practical learning experiences aligned with labor market needs. The MoU focuses on several areas of collaboration, including facilitating internship opportunities for eligible students and recent graduates, organizing job shadowing experiences, field trips and on-site visits, coordinating candidate sourcing and application screening, and supporting the placement of interns across relevant business functions. 

 

Representing Americana at the signing ceremony were Mr. Mohammed Al Azmi, Public Relations Manager, and Mr. Khaled Mohammed, Talent Acquisition. Representing the Australian University were Prof. Isam Zabalawi, President, Eng. Sager Al Sharhan, Assistant to the President for Support Services, and Dr. Fadi Alkhatib, Assistant to the President for Academic Affairs.
