The Australian University (AU) has officially joined the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), a global knowledge network operating under the auspices of the United Nations Secretary-General to support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Through this membership, AU joins a global community of universities, research centers, and knowledge institutions committed to advancing practical solutions for sustainable development. The membership will support AU’s ongoing efforts in education, research, innovation, and community engagement aligned with the SDGs and Kuwait Vision 2035.
As an SDSN member, AU will have opportunities to engage with SDSN’s global and regional initiatives in education for sustainable development, applied research, SDG-focused collaboration, and knowledge exchange.
This milestone reflects AU’s commitment to contributing to sustainable development locally, regionally, and globally, while reinforcing its role in supporting innovation, academic collaboration, and initiatives that create a positive impact on society.
