The Australian University (AU) welcomed Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Ali, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Private Universities Council (PUC), during an official visit to its campus as part of the Council’s ongoing field inspections of private higher education institutions.
The visit aimed to assess the university’s readiness and review the implementation of approved safety procedures and emergency response plans. During the tour, Dr. Al Ali reviewed the measures adopted by AU to ensure the safety and well-being of students, faculty, and administrative staff, as well as the preparedness of the university’s academic and support facilities.
Dr. Al Ali also toured several campus facilities and briefed on the systems, protocols in place to maintain a safe learning environment and ensure the continuity of academic operations under various circumstances.
The Australian University reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and security across campus. In coordination with the relevant authorities, AU continues to strengthen its emergency preparedness plans and regularly update its safety procedures to ensure the protection of its academic community and the uninterrupted delivery of education.
