The Australian University organized its biannual Engineering Graduation Projects Exhibition at Salwa Al Sabah Hall, under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nader Al Jalal. The exhibition was held in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Mohamed Abdul Niby, and was attended by members of AU’s management, faculty, and staff, alongside representatives from the public and private sectors.
The exhibition showcased graduation projects completed by engineering students during the fall semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. It featured 23 engineering projects developed by 96 students across multiple specializations, including electrical, mechanical, civil, and petroleum engineering. The projects reflected students’ dedication, creativity, and the advancement of their technical and applied skills across various engineering disciplines.
Speaking during the exhibition, Dr. Abdul Niby emphasized that graduation projects are a core requirement of the final academic semester, enabling students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical applications and innovative solutions. He noted that many of the showcased projects are closely linked to modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, and present viable industrial and commercial applications that serve the needs of society. He further highlighted that the exhibition goes beyond being an academic showcase, serving instead as a bridge between higher education and the labor market. By presenting their ideas directly to industry experts, students gain valuable exposure, while reinforcing the role of AU as a leading educational institution in Kuwait.
