A welcome note was then presented by Dr. Suad Al Radhwan, Manager of CIE, who highlighted the forum’s objectives and reaffirmed the center’s mission to foster innovation, empower entrepreneurs, and accelerate sustainable startups. She emphasized CIE’s alignment with Kuwait Vision 2035 and AU’s ASCEND Strategy 2030. At the conclusion of her remarks, Dr. Suad introduced Ms. Rakshitha Rajadurai, an exceptional high school student from Gulf Indian School, who delivered an inspiring speech showcasing her innovative accomplishments at a remarkably young age.
The forum provided a dynamic platform for Engineering and Business students to present innovative projects, particularly in artificial intelligence and technological solutions. The top awards were presented to students from Petroleum Engineering (first place), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (second place), and the College of Business (third place).
The 2025 forum also featured AU Valley, an initiative designed to empower AU students and alumni by providing opportunities to present their enterprises, connect with investors, and transform ideas into impactful businesses, reinforcing AU’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and contributing to Kuwait’s economic development.
