The Student Affairs Department at AU successfully conducted the orientation program for new students on January 21st, 2026, prior to the start of the Spring semester. The program aimed to welcome new students and their parents, provide essential academic and administrative information, and address any inquiries to ensure a smooth transition into university life.
The Spring Orientation was held at the AU Auditorium and was led by the Manager of Student Affairs, Mr. Hussain Al-Haddad. During the session, Mr. Hussain Al-Haddad delivered a comprehensive overview of the university, including AU’s academic majors, rules and regulations, policies, and an introduction to the various departments and their requirements.
The orientation session ran smoothly and created a welcoming and engaging environment for attendees. Positive feedback was received from both students and parents, reflecting the effectiveness and organization of the program. Following the session, AU gift bags were distributed to new students and their parents, and afterwards, a campus tour was conducted, allowing students to visit the main building, library, and other key facilities to help them become familiar with the AU campus before the start of the semester.
In addition to the main session, the Student Affairs team organized an Orientation Exhibition featuring both academic and non-academic departments that directly support students. Each department was represented by a staff member at their respective booth, where they addressed students’ questions and provided further guidance.
