AU Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

AU Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

As part of its ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and community engagement, the Australian University (AU) organized its annual #AUGoesPink campaign in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of early detection, show solidarity with patients and survivors, and encourage healthy lifestyle practices within the AU community.

Throughout the week, the campus was filled with creative and artistic activities reflecting themes of hope and strength. Students and staff participated by designing awareness pieces, distributing informative cards with pink pins, and sharing educational messages across AU’s social media platforms through posts and stories to reach a wider audience and spread awareness.

Commenting on the initiative, Ms. May Al Musallam, Senior Manager of Public Relations and Marketing at AU, said: “#AUGoesPink campaign is a reminder that awareness is essential, and it may save lives. When our students and staff come together for a great cause, it creates a culture of compassion and responsibility that extends beyond campus.”
