The team representing the College of Business at the Australian University (AU) secured second runner up place in the highly regarded H.I Innovation Program hosted by the Kuwait International Bank (KIB). Competing against top talent from other universities in Kuwait, the AU team developed a cutting-edge banking solution designed to enhance customer engagement and reduce churn rates.
The AU student’s innovative product demonstrated immediate applicability and showcased a clear strategic vision, strong functionality, and a compelling return on investment. Their professional presentation and ability to articulate objectives with precision set them apart from competition. The students representing AU during the competition were: Alizaa Hassan, Khaled Al Otaibi, Mishari Al Ameeri, and Abdulaziz Al Jaian.
Ms. Nourah Al Humaidi, a representative from KIB’s Digital Innovation and Data Intelligence department, praised the team for their dedication and ingenuity, stating: “Their dedication, creativity, and problem-solving skills were truly inspiring. We were amazed by their ability to tackle challenges with such enthusiasm and innovation, and we have no doubt that they have bright futures ahead.”
