The Australian University (AU) celebrated World Teachers’ Day on 5 October with a lighthearted social media initiative highlighting the personalities and qualities of its faculty members.
As part of the initiative, professors took turns selecting notes featuring different characteristics, such as “arrives before everyone else,” “most positive,” and other fun descriptions, before choosing the faculty member they felt best matched each one.
The video offered a different perspective on AU’s professors, showcasing the personalities, positive qualities, and connections that extend beyond the classroom. Through the interactive format, the initiative created an engaging way to recognize faculty members while celebrating the important role teachers play in the university community.
The initiative formed part of AU’s recognition of World Teachers’ Day and its appreciation for the dedication and contributions of its academic staff.
