AU signs MoU with KFH

AU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Kuwait Finance House (KFH) for strengthening cooperation between the two sides in terms of training, teaching, and attracting talents, in addition to organizing workshops and educational and social programs.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Eng. Sager Al-Sharhan, AU Assistant to the President for Support Services, representing AU, and Mr. Zeyad Abdullah Al Omar, KFH Group Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer, representing KFH, along with several officials from both sides.

Mr. Al Omar stated that the MoU will establish new academic and professional opportunities between KFH and AU, which represent an added value to both sides.

Al Omar added that, as part of the MoU, KFH will attract exceptional students to its summer programs in order to improve their competencies and prepare them professionally for their future careers, which is in line with KFH’s keenness to enhance its position at the private sector level in training and recruiting Kuwaiti talents, as well as providing them with the opportunity to build a successful career path as they are the most significant elements for achieving a sustainable development.

From his part, Eng. Al-Sharhan said: “I congratulate both sides on taking this momentous step. The MoU between AU and KFH will promote progress and the exchange of expertise by offering students the opportunity to engage in the bank’s environment and encourage them to participate in its summer training programs.”

“AU will provide the venue and facilities for KFH to utilize for the training of its employees by the respective AU department, in addition to co-organizing awareness campaigns for the younger generations,” Eng. Al-Sharhan added.
