The Australian University (AU) and Al Nasser & Al Nashie United Company (NNUC) officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in order to foster collaboration between education and industry. Among its aims, the MoU works to help provide internship opportunities for students, support for project-based learning by presenting real industry challenges, and collaboration in research and knowledge transfer.
The signing ceremony was held on February 10th, 2026, at the AU campus. Representing NNUC during the ceremony were Eng. Bashir Al Nashie, Chairman of NNUC, and Eng. Dena Al Nashie, CEO of NNUC, and representing AU were Prof. Isam Zabalawi, President of AU, and Eng. Sager Al Sharhan, Assistant to the President for Support Services.
