AU Hosts COB Graduation Project Exhibition

AU Hosts COB Graduation Project Exhibition

The Australian University (AU) successfully hosted the College of Business Graduation Project Exhibition for the Fall 2025–2026 semester on December 9, 2025, at the AU Hangar. The exhibition brought together students, faculty members, and industry professionals to showcase innovative graduation projects developed throughout the semester.

A total of seven student sections participated, working under the academic supervision of Dr. Faidon Theofanidis, Dr. Mirna Safi, Dr. Richard Rutter, Dr. Sapheya Aftimos, and Dr. Yamen Nissi. The projects were developed across two key tracks, Consultancy and Startup, reflecting students’ academic specializations and their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world business challenges.

The exhibition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges representing both industry and academia, including Ms. Farida Anany, Executive Manager of Emerging Technologies at Warba Bank, Dr. Manal Al Hasawi, Managing Partner at Think Tank Strategy & Development Consulting, Mr. Peter Kelly, Executive Vice President and Deputy Head of Human Resources at National Bank of Kuwait, as well as AU faculty members Dr. Fadi Al Khatib, Head of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Mortadha Turki Al Saba, Head of Petroleum Engineering.

Each project was presented through professionally designed booths, demonstrating the integration of core business functions and project management principles. Based on the judges’ evaluations, awards were presented to the top three projects, and an additional winner was selected through public voting. The awards were sponsored by Chalhoub Group.

The exhibition was met with strong engagement and positive feedback, underscoring AU’s commitment to experiential learning and preparing business graduates to meet the evolving needs of the market.
