The Australian University took part in the Financial and Economic Resilience Conference: Leading Growth in an Age of Challenges, held from the 14th to the 16th of September at the Jumeirah Hotel. The event was organized by the Infinity International Center in cooperation with the Kuwait Association of Accountants and Auditors and the Kuwait Economic Society.
Representing AU, Dr. Mohamad Atyeh, Assistant Professor of Banking, Finance and Accounting, delivered insightful remarks on the importance and dimensions of financial performance and asset valuation. He highlighted their essential role in enhancing organizational financial resilience and mitigating risks tied to the economic performance of both public- and private-sector institutions.
The conference brought together leading experts and practitioners to exchange insights on best practices in financial and economic management during times of uncertainty. It served as a platform for presenting innovative, practical solutions that empower organizations to transform challenges into opportunities for sustainable growth and development.
The program also featured notable participation from across the GCC, with distinguished representatives from the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, as well as attendees from a wide range of public- and private-sector institutions.
