AU Celebrates Unified Gulf Traffic Week with “Driving Without a Phone” Campaign On February 4, 2025, Australian University (AU) hosted Ministry of Interior officials to promote traffic safety during the Unified GCC Traffic Week. The event aligned with AU’s CSR efforts to raise public awareness. Attendees included senior Ministry officials and AU students and staff. The program featured a detailed lecture on traffic laws, driver responsibilities, causes of accidents, and advanced traffic monitoring technologies. An interactive Q&A, awards, and a display of enforcement vehicles were part of the event. Kuwaiti women police officers also highlighted their key roles. Mr. Abdulmohsen Al Refai from AU emphasized the importance of educating students on safe driving to reduce traffic injuries and save lives.
