AU’s Business Management students played an important role in organizing various CSR activities this semester. Students have been studying the Management Principles course and have had the opportunity to put their newly found management skills into real-life practice by reaching out to the wider community.
The students were responsible for planning and implementing a large number of activities on and off campus. Some of these group activities included donating clothes and food to cleaners, gas stations and charities. Other groups of students organized beach clean-ups and made visits to the elderly care facility, the orphanage and the autism center. Raising awareness was another priority for the students, who managed campaigns on the dangers of smoking as well as breast cancer awareness among other topics.
