AU’s female volleyball team secures third place in Warba Bank League

The Australian University (AU) proudly announces that its women’s volleyball team has secured an impressive third-place finish in the prestigious Warba Bank League, organized by the Kuwait School Sports Federation and Higher Education.

The AU team demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication throughout the tournament with their remarkable performances throughout. In the group stages they achieved a commanding victory over KTECH but faced a loss against Boxhill College in a competitive match. The AU team made it to the semi-final round against GUST, and despite falling short with a 0-2 loss, the team made a strong comeback in the third-place match winning 2-0 over Kuwait University, earning their well-deserved podium finish.

Hussain Al Haddad, Manager of Student Affairs and Student Life, expressed pride in his team’s achievement, stating: “This accomplishment reflects the dedication and resilience of our athletes. Their success underscores the importance of teamwork, preparation, and the unwavering support of our university community.”
